butterfly paintings

Today we enjoyed painting the butterflies. Some children attempted mixing colours and made pastel colours such as mint green, lavender and baby blue. Children experimented using a fine point brush to paint the butterflies for details and a large flat brush to paint the background with long vertical brush strokes.
